Pink Floyd kehrt mit spektakulärem Konzert im Wembley Stadium am 5.8.1988 nach London zurück

Sieben Jahre waren ins Land gezogen, seit Pink Floyd 1981 ihre letzten Konzerte im Earls Court in London spielten. Es war lange Zeit unklar, nach dem Ausstieg von Roger Waters, ob David Gilmour, Nick Mason und Rick Wright je wieder als Pink Floyd gemeinsam auf die Bühne zurückkehren würden.

Am 5. August 1988 war es so weit! Pink Floyd waren in ihre Stadt zurückgekehrt und zelebrierten das eindrucksvoll mit der ersten von zwei ausverkauften Shows im legendären Wembley Stadium. Hinter der Bühne war ein großes Partyzelt aufgestellt worden, sodass Pink Floyd mit den vielen Freunden, Gästen und Familienmitgliedern feiern konnte.
