Weiss jemand etwas über die Story von “Two of a Kind”?
“The main purchase-incentiv for these Top Gear and Sounds Of The Seventies sessions from 1970 and 1971 is the otherwise unavailable “Two Of A Kind”, a fascinatingly archetypal Floyd mystery. Rick Wright reportedly wrote the song, but Barrett became convinced he’d written it, and Wright himself professed characteristic confusion when asked about the subject in 1996. Lyrically at least, “Two Of A Kind” sounds like Wright’s work, possessing none of Barrett’s signature wordplay. It also fades away mid-way through, as if Barrett had forgotten it. Otherwise though, apart from wavering mic technique on “Effervescing Elephant”, Barrett is in reasonably together form on the 1970 sessions.”
Vielleicht hilftes dir.

Gerd
