David Gilmour bereitet sich auf die Veröffentlichung eines neuen Soloalbums Luck and Strange samt dazugehöriger Tournee vor und … findet auch noch Zeit unsere Fragen zu beantworten! WHAT!?? Wie geht das? Der Guardian lud auf seiner Website ein, dem Pink Floyd Gitarristen Fragen zu stellen. Dazu benötigt man einen Account und am besten ein Abo. Man kann auch einmalig was geben, mir ist es das auf alle Fälle wert, profitiere ich doch immer wieder von guten Artikeln.

- Can you share your favourite memories of touring Australia and will you ever consider coming back to play for us all down here one last time?
- Is it true that you were influenced by John Martyn’s use of the echoplex?
- Did you write the cascading chordal guitar outro on ‘Sheep’? And how much of the rest of the ‘Animals’ album contains your musical and arrangement contributions? I believe you played the bass on ‘Pigs’ as well as the guitar. Which other tracks do you play bass on?
- Should there be limits on A.I technology?
- Are there any songs from About Face (and On An Island, and Rattle That Lock and David Gilmour) in the set list for the new tour?
- Any idea about The Wall new 5.1 mix done by James Guthrie will be released? Any plans to continue remixing in Atmos the rest of the catalogue.

- Pink Floyd’s gig at Wembley Stadium in the late 80’s is still my undisputed #1 gig. A real multi-senses assault on eyes, ears, & body with those huge screens, special effects (the iconic spitfire crashing into the stage, & sonic reflectors as you all played out all of Floyd’s now iconic tracks. You’ve played with so many musical icons over the years, but what was your favorite gig & who/what was your favorite collaboration?

Gilmour, ano que vem o Pink Floyd completa 60 anos e nos fans gostaríamos de ver o lançamento completo da música Early Morning Henry. É possível? E uma última questão: realmente existe no catálogo da banda uma música não lançada chamada Peace Be With You? obrigado e saudações do Brasil

Ich habe dann mal bei neptunpinkfloyd geschaut:
“Pink Floyd collectors will be very excited to learn that a recording, thought lost forever, probably featuring Pink Floyd as a backing band, has been found after many years. It will be available for auction on 16th October in Wessex, England at 12pm BST.
The recording is Early Morning Henry, the auction house is Wessex Auction House, the songwriter/artist is William “Billy” Butler and the backing band was none other than Pink Floyd.
It was recorded on 23rd October 1967 at Abbey Road Studios. The recording sheet is below showing Pink Floyd were recording Set The Controls for the Heart of the Sun at the time.”

Uma dica: no YouTube tem a música Seabirds com vocal feita com IA.
Da gibt es so viele offene Fragen, auf die er wohl nur offen antworten würde: Warum spielt er nichts von seine ersten beiden Alben live? Und nichts von Animals und nicht Have a Cigar oder die komplette Version von Shine on? Arbeitet er (vielleicht zusammen mit Samson) an einer Biografie? Wie findet er die Soloalben von Waters – und hätte er in manchem Stück Potential für Pink Floyd gesehen? Was denkt er wäre passiert wenn Waters die Band nicht verlassen hätte? Was hält er von einem Pink Floyd Musical (siehe ABBA) – oder entsprechenden Events alla SPHERE?

Alguém poderia perguntar sobre as gravações de vídeo dos shows do The Wall em 1980, se serão lançadas.
David Gilmour teria lançado o filme há muito tempo, há algumas entrevistas do ano 2000 em que ele diz isso, mas Roger Waters possui os direitos visuais.
